Who is the most accomplished boxer with a losing record?

We should define the term losing record. What percentage of fights are losses to be considered a losing record?

Bob Satterfield had 79 fights with a record of 50-25-4. He lost 30% of his fights or one out of every three. Still managed wins over Harold Johnson, Cleveland Williams and Valdes. Big puncher with a glass jaw.

 

By losing record are we talking about fighters with at least 20+ losses or are we only counting gatekeepers / journeyman?

 

A losing record generally means that you have fewer wins than losses and draws. Bob Satterfield won more fights than he lost so that’s still a winning record .

 

Surely a losing record means more losses than wins.

Is Quirez the only world champion with more losses than wins? I can't think of another.
