Media and hype can build a misperception about a fighter's invincibility and being the most avoided fighter. In recent times we've seen fighter's hyped as the most very dangerous and thus most avoided. Margarito, Paul Williams, Mosley, Dawson, Abrahams, Angulo, Darchanian, etc. Did each of these fighters present a risk, no question, but there is a risk everytime a fighter steps into the ring. For example Peterson-Khan, Kirkland-Angulo, Lara-Williams, Marrtinez-Williams, Pac-Marquez 1,2,3, etc
That's just 1 fighter though, and now there is no use to seeing that fight... Pacquiao's last performance was horrendous
Pirog or Lara. People who voted Bute, it says who is most avoided not who does the most avoiding. There is a difference.
I would say Lara as he seems to be calling everyone out, in and around his division and very few want to fight him. I think If he had of got decision he derserved over Williams he may have became a bigger name and more would be willing to fight him then.
