    :rofl

You mean like that time he turned down a title fight with Huck because he was insulted by the $75,000 offer?

    Guzman

An obviously elite fighter, who just can't get the big fights to break into the elite.

Winky and Johnson were for a long time and then they got their big breaks.

Forrest never really got his big break after loosing to Mayorga he isnt making as big of fights as he deserves.

Winky was only getting fights since he was the top guy and on a good winning streak so he could call the shots but now after his loss to Hopkins he is going to have a hard time getting good fights again

Nice thread, but the worst part about it is the ignorant jackasses who voted for Margarito!

No one wants to fight Winky cause he'll expose them and show other fighters what it takes to beat the opponent.

Even Pavlik knows that a loss to Winky can ruin his career. Cause it will show every fighter how to beat him.

Winkys avoided by some because his fights don't get much attention

    Not that he's unbeatable

For example Pavlik gets more benefit by fighting Hopkins (the man who beat Winky). Hopkins just lost to Calzaghe... if Pavlik beats B-Hop by clear decision, it does more for him than a win over Winky. It makes a bigger shout for a huge payday fight with Calzaghe.

So yes, Winky is avoided.... but he needs to lower his demands...very few enjoy his style

Maybe its because he really just sucks. He did not impress me when I watched him fight a limited fighter in the rafa-izzy undercard. Both rafa and izzy are levels above him.
