Some of these guys aren't really avoided.

Wright has been getting big fights for the last 4 years, and often prices himself out of fights.

Cotto didn't get big fights with Mayweather or De La Hoya, but was there a real offer to make these fights anyway?

Johnson has gotten title fights and reasonably big fights in the past few years.

Winky Wright...Deservedly so; boring fighters shouldn't deserve to fight in big fights because they won't entertain

How is Winky Wright so avoided, especially at middleweight?

His first fight after vacating 154 was a huge money fight against Felix Trinidad. A year later, he fights Jermaine Taylor for the middleweight title.

He turns down the rematch, wanting more money, then a year later, gets a big money fight with Bernard Hopkins.

He also got offers for a Kelly Pavlik fight, and signed for it, but problems with HBO prevented it. Now HBO has to give Wright a date in a few months to make up for it.

winky is easily the most avoided fighter and I scored the Winky b-hop fight 115-113 to winky wright who in my opinion shouldve beat taylor aswell i scored that 116 - 112 and apart from that premature loss at the beginning of his career should really be undefeated. Winky clearly beat vargas, taylor and hopkins

Is that why he's gotten big fights, the biggest or 2nd biggest possible in the division, in each of the last 4 years?

This isn't the early 2000s. Winky isn't avoided anymore.
