Teo offered Matias a fight earlier this year and Matias turned it down. Benavidez not being ducked by anyone. He wont fight Morrell and is chasing Canelo - and it remains to be seen what happens in May - so I cant say Canelo is ducking Benavidez...however, if he fights at 168 versus anyone but Benavidez...very suspect Dont know enough about other 2 so wont comment
Biting off @the commentator Boots Ennis most avoided for sure. Here's a list of guys that dont want to fight him: Thurman Bud (understandable) Spence (understandable) Stannionis Danny G (dont care which weight he's pretending to campaign at) Connor Benn
Hrgovic has been avoided for the past 4 years. Ennis is avoided right now. Kabayel has been avoided since he beat Chisora.
I’m not sold on Ennis yet, I watched him a few fights ago and thought he looked boring. be interested to see how kholmatov does against Ford next, if he wins I think he’ll be avoided big time!
By current champs at 126 may be looking for Inoue to move up so that they can get that payday but Inoue will fight him going by his record so far
I don't think it's fair to accuse Stan of ducking Super Boots. He just didn't want to fight him coming off a year and a half-going on two year layoff and as a EE fighting in the US surely he's got to know by now the chances of him getting robbed are extremely high and he'll be fighting on a deck heavily stacked against him with a full set of US officials. With Spence and Crawford it's completely different. No one was or is asking them to face Super Boots after a year and a half-going on two year layoff and the fight would be in their country with home officials where the chances of them getting robbed against him are extremely low It's undeniable Hrgovic is one of the most ducked Bakole is avoided too Benavidez is only being ducked by Clenelo really in that barren wasteland of a division
Matias has a hand injury & wouldn't be ready by then, is why he turned it down. Some are claiming that Lopez knew & that's why he made the offer. I don't think so & I believe he wants that fight, hopefully it will happen in 2024 I do however believe that Huggy Haney & his dad will find a way to avoid Matias though. They already started with some BS story about how Matias manager (who it turns out has nothing to do with Matias) demanded 8 million to fight Huggy etc Yes if Canelo doesn't fight Benavidez in 2024, I think that will be a certified duck
