Did i read somewhere that Vitali throws more punches per round than Wlad?? Vitali is much better to watch not afraid to get hit and goes for the kill not like Wlad safety first style.
its because despite all those qualities you mentioned, he is just not exciting. he COULD BE! he is still scarred from the KO losses. hes very reluctant to let his hands go. we all know he could easily take out his opponents earlier and go for the kill. he doesnt. he wants to be safe and jab till the later rounds. That is fair enough. good for him. its led to him being a great fighter and very hard to beat. but it means his fights are boring. thats an inevitable by product of his ''unbeatable'' style. he doesnt need to please the masses. he just needs to do whats best for him. and thats his style atm. good for him. but it means the majority of boxing fans will feel its slightly boring
Wlad Klitschko by far. I for one enjoy watching Ward, Direll and Mayweather and don't think they are at all boring, just gotta appreciate the sweet science. Sturm is also fun to watch.
Agreed. Hopkins is a boring ass fighter. All those clinching and wrestling, not to say when he fakes low blows or climb in his opponents' back and fakes an injury.
I guess it how you look at the things what you appreciate.:think I for one Like Watching Rather Dirrel than Ward even Dirrel is not as Versatile and rough but he hes those blazing fast hands and pretty good power too and fast combinations. Ward for me is horrible to watch his feather fists and punch, headbutt, grap combination I just cant stand him it is diffucult to say. Ward is great boxer thou.
Sweet science of hitting with out getting hit? if you truly appreciate the sweet science then Wlad should be one of your favorites to watch right? if you are giving respect to Floyd etc for the sweet science i think it's hipocritical to then deem wlad as boring...or did i read it wrong?
No, Wlad doesn't do it gracefully. He just sticks his hand out and doesn't let the other guy get close or jabs all night long. Other guys use head/foot movement to avoid punches.
