Who is the most COMPETITIVE fight out there for Alvarez(154) right now?

I wanted to see who you think is the most COMPETITIVE fight out there for Saul Alvarez?

I listed 3 names and I didn't include Lara or Williams, as they just don't have the draw power that Canelo is looking for.

The 3 names are James Kirkland, Alfredo Angulo, or Shane Mosley.:thumbsup

Given the circumstances, it's clear Saul Alvarez is looking for a big name...AFTER ALL he is fighting on May 5th in the Co feature bout.

So with that said, who takes him into deep waters and who hardly competes?

My personal opinion is that Kirkland would find himself out on his feet by the 5th round-Canelo is no joke, has a good chin from what I"ve seen (saw one setback in JM. Cotto), Canelo hits hard and Kirkland just doesn't have the chin.

I believe Canelo would be good with Angulo...but be real-Canelo has more skills BY FAR, and more versatility in his fight game...Could make for an ugly fight should Canelo choose to box a little more and keep Angulo off of him..I think he could.

Shane Mosley-Shane can drag Saul Alvaraz into deep waters. He is 40 years old, but he will give more movement than either of the other fighters...He will be a considerable UNDERDOG but at the same time, STYLES MAKE FIGHTS-

He knocks Kirkland easy-c'mon now-Kirkland has 0 chin. Lara is not the name-read the post-Canelo is lookin for a big name on May 5..I would too if it were my career.

 

LAST thing to go is your power-

Shane still has it-You saw a glimpse of it in round 2-He is more dangerous than Kirkland or El Perro.

 

dzinziruk would be a great fight-I might favor Dzinsiruk-

But with that said he is looking for a name.

 

Canelo-Angulo??

It would be a great fight for him-But I think Canelo is a much more complete fighter over Angulo-Angulo comes straight forward and throws punches..a swarmer-Saul would pick Angulo apart IMO. Canelo has a better jab, better defense, better coordination, MUCH MORE SKILL.

 

Anne Wolf is an awesome trainer...With that said, she is not making Kirklands chin any better-His chin looked worse than it did with Ishida!

He had 2 wins over journeymen fighters before getting his chin exposed by Angulo again...

Saul KO Kirkland inside of 5.

 

Angulo's skills are limited-very limited-I think his style is tailor made for Saul.

His footwork is better, his punches are straigher, the angles he takes are much more sophiticated than Angulo, his timing is levels above Angulos...He has much better stamina too....

Saul beats all 3 but only Shane is competitive past 5 with em-Kirkland would get TIMED all night and stopped early-

Angulo is not as skilled as Canelo...not even close to it.:deal
