Actually, I agree with you. Aside from his lack of power at higher weights (which is damning, unfortunately) PBF has not shown any outstanding weaknesses.

True, but his style seems a bit one-dimensional (and he lacks several punches) when compared to Mayweather. If well-roundedness comes from technical perfection and physical preparation, I can't think of many who outdo Floyd.

 

That's not the point. The point is that everyone knows he's the best P4P fighter. The point is that you are making threads which continues to mention this fact.

 

Not necessarily. When Jones was the #1 P4P fighter, he lacked too many qualities (technical correctness, a jab, chin) to be labeled "complete". He was an excellent fighter, but not a complete one--instead, he used a more limited skillset honed to a razor's edge.

Another example is Hopkins. He isn't exactly "complete" so much as extremely canny and experienced. In this case, Floyd just happens to be the most complete and the best P4P in the world.

No he is also kinda low on stamina. Other than that I agree with you.

 

Lack of an uppercut is also a major problem.

He definitely has "balls" though, since he keeps getting up when he's being knocked down. Like Patterson, his problem is confidence and durability, not courage.

Better that than constantly hating on the man, it's about time his amazing talents get celebrated because people like Floyd don't come around everyday.
