Who is the most complete fighter of the game today?

ok this is comparing floyd to whom, like bums of the world or elite fighters. I love floyd as a fighter by the way. But if floyd has a 5 for speed etc.
then wat is zab judah, roy jones? they both have faster hands than floyd
see wat im saying, not tryin 2 s**t on floyd b/c he is one of my fav's but jsut wanted to know

 

Remember, not all numbers are created equal. Yes, PBF at 130-140 had elite speed in his hands and feet. Was Jones elite at 160-175 in speed? Yup...he would be a "5" as well...but his 5 would carry more weight.

 

Prime Tyson = 5's all the way across the board.
His style was impeccable, and his defense was impregnable.

In what way is he more complete than Joe Calzaghe? Defence? Well Calzaghe's workrate counters that.

 

Not really. Floyds workrate was as good as anyone in historys. At 130 that is. Lets see Calzaghes workrate when he is in his 5th division. Floyd workrate was none stop against Chavez. Chavez was throwing 100 punches a round at him and Floyd was always working. Not to mention there were rounds where Floyd would reel off 70 punches.

Floyd whole game is better technically. His technique in regards to footwork, offence and defence is superior. Not to mention he is more skilled.

 

at his prime I got him being a 5 all across the board except for his chin. which I rated a 4. I dont think he has a china chin, he got caught with an unsuspecting good shot in one fight, the other it was just an accumulation of punches that put him down.
at 160/168 RJ was damn near superman in the ring

 

Calzaghe's offence is superior.

Calzaghe throws more varied combinations than Floyd did at any weight. Their footwork is of course completely different but equally effective and level.

Floyd have the more text-book technique sure. But Calzaghe his opponents slaps better.

And consider work rate. Calzaghe throws a ridiculous number of punches even weighing 168+ pounds which is just spectacular.
