    I myself did notice that in regards to when guys name Cotto. Cotto is a complete fighter, just not the Most complete fighter.
    Physically he does have it all....good handspeed, good power, he is incredibly strong.

    Skill wise he has a couple of things to sore up. He isnt quite comfortable at every range, his defense is good but on a world class level he is fairly hittable, and we dont know yet if he can adapt to someone who can outbox him for long stretches(Mayweather) or someone who can match his physical strength and power(Margarito).

    Aside from thee things he does bring one of the best body attacks in the business, an ever-improving jab, and has had the ability to make a fighter fight his fight and pace. A complete fighter just not the most Complete today.

    So if you want to take non physical attributes into account, how about level of competition, Cotto 1, Mayweather 2, Calzaghe 3.

    Then you have ability to adapt box and brawl as appropiate, Cotto, Calzaghe 2, Mayweather 3.

    A fighters heart, Cotto 1, Calzaghe 2, Mayweather 3.

    Experience in comaparison to age (their prime), Cotto 1, Mayweather 2, Calzaghe 3.

    Floyd
    Cotto
    Calzaghe

    Floyd's defense is what separates him from Cotto. If his defense slipped I'd say Cotto but Floyd is a freak.

    Cotto has made skills. I think over the last 2 years he has been able silent most of his critics.

    How anyone can't be a fan of Cotto amazes me, he's strong, he's quick, he's skilled, he's all business.. and he ****s people up.

    There is no one else in boxing like Cotto.

    Cotto isn't one of a kind ... he's entertaining but not the least big complete ... his skill set is so far behind and can only fight one kind of fighter ...

    Cotto has only fought one kind of fighter.....what kind of fighter is that Fitz... the human kind. Did your parents use lead based paint when decorating your room growing up? do you still reside in that room? do you still enjoy eating the lead paint that peels from the wall?

    Just asking......

    shut up man :thumbsup

    he said a valid point he can be hit and uses his size to great effect. his jab is good but it is not that great just a surprise from what most of us thought was a simple 2-D slugger.

    he isnt a boxer-puncher as the guy said he is more of a puncher-boxer if that makes more sense he only uses a jab and combonations when he chooses to use them.

    stop acting high and mighty :good bless

    What would you say the similarities were between Carlos Quintana and Shane Mosley, in terms of how they fight?

    What I meant by experience was that he has fought all types of styles at a very early age and it definitely the most prime out the three.

    Malinaggi = Slick Boxer
    Torres = Slugger
    Mosley = Boxer puncher, great speed, Just all around great fighter
    Judah = South paw, Incredible Puncher, Incredible speed great boxer
    Quinna = South paw, big man, accurate puncher, solid

    These are just a few different types of boxers he has faced and beat up badly!

    Also out of those 12 champs that floyd fought you have gatti, baldomir, DLH and Hatton not really dangerous fights or true "champs" if you ask me so his number is back down to 8 just one more than Cotto and he is five years older!
