WHO are the most criticised, most bashed, most hated and scrutinised boxers?

Never in my life have I seen a professional athlete (not just boxer) getting criticised as much as Mayweather, and unfairly too.
I can understand the hate for Mayweather (due to domestic violence, racism, arrogance, flaunting money, boring style etc)
But the criticism he gets is way too harsh and unfair. Lets start with the most common ones
    - He is a cherry picker. [WRONG. He has fought De La Hoya, Pacquiao, Arturo Gatti, Undefeated Alvarez
-He is pillow-fisted [In his early career, he used to knock heaps of people out. He damaged his hand and as he grew older he became more defensive and didn't go for the kill as much. He can still hit hard]
-He is boring [Don't watch boxing then. this is sweet science. If you like brawls and bloods go watch mma or something]

and the WORST one of all, people calling Floyd Mayweather a coward, chicken/ ***** etc. He defeated 23 world champions, and a lot of them were hard hitters, Pacquiao, Mosley etc. He risks his life and health every time he steps in the ring to be watched in front of millions

    CLIFFS (short summary)
-Curious who do you think is the most criticised boxer and gets the most hate
    -My vote is Floyd Mayweather
-He is called a coward, cherry picker, overrated, pillow fisted, boring etc

As a Brit my favourite fighter is Floyd. I think people hated him for his lifestyle and the way he conducted himself out the ring. Same fate Tyson Fury suffered when he burst on to the big time after Wlad

As a boxer Floyd Mayweather was a master of his craft. It be beggars belief the hate he gets from his own countrymen, if we had a fighter like that over here in Britain he’d be a national treasure without a doubt

He's the greatest fighter without a signature win. He was great, but he never faced a prime great opponent. There was always an angle once he moved up in weight. So, the cherry picking stuff has some legitimacy.

He tries to compare himself to greats like Sugar Ray Leonard. Leonard beat a prime Hearns then capped his career off by going up in weight to fight Hagler. Floyd? Faded Oscar, faded Floyd, shot Mosley, faded Cotto, and never returned Sergio Martinez's phone calls (and he could have won that fight if Cotto dit).

I think the hate goes too far, he did consistently beat good fighters. He's not Joe Cal. But he's not what he says he is and he causes most of the blowback with his own mouth.

Name a single prime great fighter that Joe Calzaghe fought? If Floyd's career can be criticised then Calzaghe's careers can be blasted to high hell.

I wouldnt have a problem with Floyd if his fans and himself had some perspective. All we are asking for is some perspective. He calls himself TBE and his fans go along with it. But he just doesnt have the wins to come anywhere close to backing up that claim, flat out doesnt have the wins to justify it.

Calzaghe never made the claims Floyd did though.
