We all know boxers resort to dirty tactics every now and then. Who would you say is the most effective one in the sport today, from an allround perspective?

I would go for Ward, I think. He can launch devastating full body weight headbutts, smother the opponents work with excessive holding, disrupt by pushing with the shoulder, elbow and punch after the bell and getting away with it. Thats really something, when you think of it. Cant have been easy to develop such skill within the field.

Yes, Ward would be the best pick, as skillful as he is he can foul with the best of them. Mayweather also deserves a mention for the use of his forearm when on the inside.

Hopkins, he is the master and Ward is just a student.

What Floyd does with his elbow is pure magic. I think Ward is more alround though. But it is a hard pick.

I agree that Hopkin's is the master, but his time is running short and Ward is the heir apparent. Khan, Dawson, Darchainian, and Mares are in contender status. Something to be proud of.

Floyd. Hopkins, Ward, Dawson etc., they are not smooth enough. Floyd bends the rules at almost every corner but disguises it very well. Therefore he's the most effective with it since he gets away doing so.

But damn, he can fight dirty when he wants to.

I think Hopkins way of counter with the headbutt is pretty smooth. But I understand why you want to go for Floyd. Even when he cheats he makes it look like beutiful boxing, unlike Wards ugly, ugly stuff.
