I was thinking, the amount of great wars in the Super Bantamweight division is insane. I imagine everyone on here knows the biggest of them, like Gomez vs Pintor and Morales vs Barrera 1, and most will know Marquez vs Vazquez.

But there's dozens of all-time great fights at the weight. Honestly, the amount of great fights there is comparable to ANY of the 'original eight'. So my question(s) to you are simple.

Who are the most entertaining bantamweights ever? (Artistic masters need not apply, I want violence, blood, workrate and guts)

    Which wars are their best?

Wilfredo Gomez and Erik Morales, as exciting fighters as they were, mostly dominated their fights at Super Bantmweight save for occasional wars with Lupe Pintor and Marco Antonio Barrera respectively. Morales got into more wars when he moved up.

For me in terms of blood and guts action I think Daniel Zaragoza is the most consistently entertaining fighter at Super Bantamweight taking into account all the very good fights he's been involved in: Paul Banke trilogy, Kiyoshi Hatanaka, Thierry Jacob, Seung Hoon Lee, Hector Acero Sanchez, Joichiro Tatsuyoshi, Wayne McCullough, Erik Morales.

Followed that with Israel Vazquez and Mahyar Monshipour.

Gomez and Morales are the 2 most exciting Bantamweight fighters I've ever seen. If I had to choose though I'd go with Morales.

Yeah, Zaragoza is my pick as well.

One look at his face should tell you all you need to know about his blood and guts style.

I came here to post this. I can watch Hamed endlessly. Lightning reflexes, lightning speed, crazy athleticism, big power (anyone at 122 ever hit harder than him?), and a whole lot of cockyness/showboating. There's a fair case to be made that Inoue is better, but man, nobody was more entertaining than Hamed.

Hell, Hamed was one of the most entertaining fighters ever, of any weight class. It's too bad his attempts at breaking big into the US market came around a time when it wasn't so good to be named something like "Naseem Hamed".

He transcended any anti Muslim sentiment in the US. People just wanted to see him fight and hate him at the same time for reasons that had nothing to do with him being Yemeni.
