While they are very skilled and talented boxers on a technical level, but they will never be mistaken for exciting with their defensively minded fighting styles, so I'm asking which of these "not known for their scintillating blood and guts wars" boxers is the most exciting of Cuba's stars. I've included the most popular well known stars of the Island for you to choose from.

    and the Nominees are...............

    Guillermo Rigondeaux

    Erislandy Lara

    Mike Perez:sleep:

    Rances Barthelemy:banana:

    Richar Abril:buitre:

    Odlanier Solis:hambre:

    Yoan Pablo Hernandez:drooling:

    Yuriorkis Gamboa:roto2gaydude:
(Gamboa disclaimer the Crawford Performance was out of the recent norm for Yuriorkis)

Unfortunately the most exciting Cuban fighters aren't as well know as their dull more famous more defensively minded counterparts. I have my fingers crossed that fighters like Sullivan Barrera, Umberto Savigne, Yunieski Gonzalez, Luis Ortiz, Erislandy Savon if he turns pro and Yunier Dorticos will become the new trend coming off of our island neighbor.

I guess Gamboa has the most exciting style...

Cuban housestyle, like the current US housestyle clearly isn't made for entertainment.

gamboa was exciting but i love the performance and sweet science rigo displays (i would like him to go in for the kill a little more but i think he is learning to do just that)

In terms of exciting it has to be Gamboa. But I still prefer watching Rigo fight....absolute genius.

Gamboa by a distance for me, although inactivity ruined a large chunk of his prime. He could be exhilarating at times.
