Ya, dont see anyone beating Usyk unless they land a lucky punch, which even then, it "appears" at least that his chin is as solid as his skillset.
I think Gassiev beats him. Usyk is obviously very talented but from what I've seen he takes too many flush shots.
Yup, if he's taking flush shots from maybe the hardest hitter there in dorticos he'll be in trouble definitely
This. OP, and many others, need to understand that "excitement" is a subjective term. I find fights exciting based on skill level or class of opponent. For example, I love watching Rigo. His fight with Donaire was exciting, but not some of his recent ones. Lomachenko? His clinic over Russell JR was exciting to me but not his victory over Walters. Ward vs Kovalev was exciting, Mayweather vs Pacquiao was exciting but not Mayweather vs Berto. Pacquiao vs JMM is exciting but not Pacquiao vs Vargas. So for me, it's all about how the opponents match up and class of the two opponents; not whether or not he clinches or runs.
Gambia if he ever fought. Dorticos is an impressive banger too. Most Cuban boxers main issue is actually getting in the ring and fighting
Didn't I tell you to stop talking to me? I do like Dorticos, Barrera, Gonzalez and Ortiz, but if you were very perceptive, you'd have noticed I did this thread back in early 2015, after I'd done threads on all of them, but none of them were household names at the time. Doriticos http://www.boxingforum24.com/thread...-cruiserweight-miami-mandible-surgeon.518214/ Barrera http://www.boxingforum24.com/thread...avyweight-hurricane-of-guantanamo-bay.519571/ Gonzalez http://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/yunieski-gonzalez-the-monster-of-the-caribbean-the-cuban-slugger-of-piñar-del-rio.523879/ Ortiz http://www.boxingforum24.com/thread...-the-heavyweight-mercedes-of-miami-fl.545241/ Loma and Usyk like KO's and go for them when they have a chance, and don't run, they come forward, big difference.
That's some good work on those threads to be honest wasn't aware you covered those fighters to, and they are getting more recognition now! as long as every one is fair here i have no issues!
I'm the one who told everyone on here that Pascal might get beaten by Gonzalez, and most as usual thought I was crazy. And I was right, once again. I did a thread on Savigne, who I love, but unfortunately, he does have a glass jaw, which is a pity, because he truly is exciting as hell to watch.
CST80 likes Barrera and Dorticos, he was hyping them before they got any attention. And ... He was really hoping Barrera beat Ward, although that could be more to do with the latter fighter P.S. No offense anyone, just having fun.
we need some floridian cubans to become top stars virtually all of the top amatuer defectors have been or are counterpunchers and need come forward fighters to make them shine. when faced with opponents other than these ,they can turn it into snoozefests/ to good to lose but so stuck in there ways to take any risks to entertain. at heavy they have dissapointed the most through lack of discipline.
