Nope, but let's break it down. If the way he acts is his real persona (which I believe it is) then surely no one, besides street punks and wannabe gangsters, can find that can kind of ignorant behaviour impressive.

If on the other hand it's an "act", as his fan boys would have you believe, then it's still pathetic as he's obviously not secure enough within himself to exude his natural demeanour. I know the usual suspects (Nallege, Pimp C, Scar etc) will jump in at this point and start screaming "What have you done in life? You're nothing compared to God Floyd etc" but at least I know I carry myself with dignity and am secure enough to be myself.

Moving away from the psychobabble. Floyd is also bad for boxing. A lot of money is being spent on his comeback fight that most percieve as a mismatch. Can you imagine if that money could be redistributed throughout boxing and some of the fights, of genuine intrigue, we would get as a result?

I know some will look to counter that by saying this is all leading to a "superfight" with Pacqiaou. There's no guaruntee that fight will happen and there's every chance we'll continue to listen to Floyd mouth off like some educated punk whilst beating up inferior opposition.

 

Floyd is. for beeing such a stupid **** outside the ring+ considering himself greater then SRR,Ali,SRL and Duran+beeing verry bad and dangerous before a fight and in the ring always fighting on the outside and not beeing so bad.Anyway he wins the fights and his skills are great, but this are the reasons why people don't like him.

I can understand people respecting his ability (I do myself) but I cannot fathom how anyone can enjoy his ignorant, classless facade unless they desperately need a hero to cling to.

At the end of the day, it is entertainment, and comes from someone who feels that they were robbed of their childhood. Guys like Terrell Owens exhibit this sort of turgid behavior because they want the attention. In Floyd's case its made him very wealthy, and IMO it doesn't bother me. In boxing its not about judging people's character its about what they do in the ring, for me. I believe majority of his fans like the boxer and aren't really exuberant about his "character" that has become famous to the public.

 

He gassed because of his opponent..He took his foot off the pedal because he didn't know where he was going.

 

He just acts that way to promote fights. Do you see him disrespecting his opponents after he beats them? No. I understand he gives the impression that he's a piece of **** on 24/7 and stuff but most of the people I've talked to that have met him said he's a nice guy. You can't say what he's like if you've never met him. You wouldn't believe how many pro athletes act all nice on camera and are complete assholes in real life. You can't judge what someone just based on the public image they try to give off through the media.
