Where is GG's name?? He's 31 with Mathew Macklin as his biggest win. He should be the first name on your list:deal
People easily get mistaken about Wilder. He's not protected. It's the other way around. ! If there's anybody that's protected, it's the top contenders. No top HW contender wants any part of the bronze bomber! Nobody!
Gary Russell Jr's list of opponents is pretty **** poor, lots of talent but nothing to show for it yet. Plus he is 25 already it isn't like he's even in his early 20's anymore so he doesn't even have the excuse of being young anymore. He really needs to step it up soon or he'll be regarded as a total waste of talent.
I like GG, but he's the EE flavor of the moment. No way Freedom puts his name on a list like this. 3 or 4 years ago he would have never dreamt of putting Boystov on it.
I just thought of another one I could have included in the poll: Mikael Zewski, who is 20-0, 15 KOs yet is fighting a 9-9 opponent today. Like Wilder, Zewski is very talented and fully capable of beating better opponents. He has a powerful and resourceful promoter, but they're holding him back for some reason.
Easy answer here . Floyd Mayweather jr He never takes a fight until all the odds are firmly in his favor He is scared to take a risk
i quite like khan but he`s really being protected, theres so much riding on the contrived fight with mayweather right now, if it doesnt happen it`ll cost big bucks.. as a FM fight is currently the most lucrative that must put khan right up there.
To add to that, when he finally had even odds vs Pac, he ducked. I don't get how people, even his fans, give him a pass for letting the #1 fight, potentially of the decade, slip right through his hands. THat was the fight that was supposed to define him finally, finally a fight where nobody could really predict who would win for certain. Boxing fans were robbed, straight up. Floyd finally had another GREAT, PRIME, fighter to step in the ring with, the only of his entire career, and he ****s it up royally, too scared to lose his 0. Its shameful really, very shameful.
Based on his first fight...not a chance. He won't be either, he'll be fast tracked because of his ability and hype.
