Britain has a few very good boxers at the moment and a few with a better reputation or selection of belts or governing body ranking than they are actually worth so who do you think is the most overated fighter from these shores?

    Ricky Hatton.
A lot of people thought he was a top 10 p4p fighter who could mix with the elite. Some even had him high up in the p4p top 10. Truly laughable as we've all now seen, some of us called it all along.

    Probably Carl Froch.

These overrated/underrated debates are completely pointless though.

How the **** is Carl Froch overated FFS? He's willing to take on all comers has had 2 possible candidates for fight of the year in his last 2 fights and is the world champion. IMO he's very highly UNDERated - He's more haters than he has any right to have just because people refuse to admit that his resume will overtake Calzaghe's in the very near future and Betty FFS give it a rest you sad ****

Whether he loses or not is a different matter. I'm saying he'll have a better resume (ie. the list of fighters he faces will be better)

Fighting people and losing does not contribute anything to a resume. That is competition.

He's got a long way to go to match Calzaghe, and if he faces fighters as good he'll lose. He's got no defence.

I would say Rendall Munroe - Although I am a fan of his, so I hope he proves me wrong!

As a prospect I say Kell Brook is the most overrated. I don't see world class in him.

    you clown.
I like Froch but he'll never be considered a better fighter than Calzaghe was. Get the **** outta here.
and Hatton was/is overrated as ****..it's not like i'm the only one saying it. Invact by beating Taylor and Pascal he's got wins as good as anything Hatton has....yet look at the difference in money made and attention....that's hype for you, and being cunningly promoted and marketed.

Ok my apologies. Well if he keeps his belt for 2 more fights against the 'Great' in your avatar (which is highly possible) or the likes of Bute, Ward, Andrade then he's done more than Calzaghe IMO. If he loses against a couple but beats them in remtaches or beats a couple of others (ie. Hopkins, Pavlik Abraham) then he's done better than him also. You see Froch can have 2 maybe 3 losses in his career and still (in a lot of other peoples opinions) will have done a lot more than Joe.

It's clearly obvious to me that your not the biggest Froch fan and I'm not the Biggest Calzaghe fan which means there will be no end to this debate.
