probably Floyd. He had the style to win in defensive fights, but he never had that motivated guy who was prime to test him.. He handpicked well.
Floyd proved he's a top level operator. Is he a scavanger and opportunist? Yes! But either way he proved he is extremely skilled and one of the best ever.
Not now, but 5-7 years ago he was by far the most overrated and jvergyped fighter in the world. At some point Ukrainian boxing site Vringe labeled him as the next huge star in boxing and ranked him among top-10 P4P fighters of the world, while in reality he didn't deserve to be ranked in top-30. For what? For feasting on bums and totally shot midgets? Carld Frampton, the first decent fighter that he has fought, showed Leo's real leven despite being much, much smaller.
Tyson Fury, Hassim Rahman, Lamont Brewster, Chris Byrd and Hassan Rahman that are guys overrated for one off upset wins against ATG and the rest of the resumes are lacking in quality. Guys who are overrated who only have one notable against 1 half decent opponent in Luis Ortiz and Wilder and just fight journeymen. Guys who were always just terrible but had good matchups against other poor opponenets to become WCs in Arreola and Stiverne. Also Prince Nasseem has to be up, once stepped in quality he got found out, beat and retired. Broner and Charlos are also very overrated.
He’s a ATG everyone knows that, he’s just overrated in my opinion ,he wasn’t as well rounded as some other ATG.
Andre Ward. On paper his resume looks great but when you start watching the fights it looks ugly. His best wins he cheesed his way in with illegal tactics (his fans will call it veteran tactics when it fits their agenda) or gift decisions. The most boring style I’ve seen. Could not sell a home arena ffs. Sad to say he is mainly calebrated by his fans for two reasons other than fighting, his skin color and his anti EE sentiment.
Tyson - depending on who you speak to. Hes either massively overrated, or very underrated. Tua. Currently I would say Fury even though I like him.
