Who is the most overrated boxer on ESB?

    I think this is an easy one for me. Although fighters like Toney and Tarver get way more credit and respect than they deserve on here...

    ...it is Pavlik who is generally credited on ESB are being the closest thing to a boxing God, the unbeatable great white hype who is going to knock everyone out, its a total fantasy of course, or just wishful thinking, he might do well, he might not. Having his God-like talent forced down our throats every five seconds isn't going to help either way.

    Obviously the popoular vote is Calzaghe, mostly because many American ESB members are not very objective and impartial and probablly have only seen him fight once or twice at most. :-(

    Calzaghe is grossly overated by a few (would beat SRR, RJJ in his prime!!) but generally unappreciated by most on this site. The levels of hatred towards him are laughably over the top and just reflect badly on those that rant about him. There seems to be little objective criticisim of him.

    Pavlik is overated no doubt!

    There was a poll in the lounge once, and it showed that there are more europeans on here then americans.

    Even if there were more Americans - Hatton, Pacman, Wlad are not American either.

    I would say pavlik is really overrated, he is a good fighter but overrated. If he lets all this fame and becomes arrogant instead of confident he will fall flat on his face. Time will tell.

    Why isn't Tyson on the list? Everyone pretty much acknowledges his career was a huge waste of talent, and yet I see this guy consistently on top 5 Heayweight lists. It's ****ing ludicrous.
