I don't believe in generalisations really as you get all types. We have had some classic boxers like Kid Akeem Anifowoshe, Obisia Nwakpa and the greats Dick Tiger and Hogan Bassey.

Tough, solid. It also means cool, like surfers would say "gnarly man" when they ride an awesome wave.

but the GN sounds like N, so it sounds like NARLY

In Frankie, Matchroom et al defence, the Light Heavyweight division was originally called the Cruiserweight division in this Country. So with them being a Century behind the times, your comment would make sense...

Maybe Teak reaches some sort of critical mass at 12st 8lb and it becomes more malleable. :?

Congolese Concrete is deffo tougher at 200lbs.

 Beyond a certain weight teak collapses under its own toughness & turns into fragile Togolese timber

Lee Selby, fresh from downing Yuriorkiss Gambo at The Mayweather Boxing Club, will take on Teak Tough Ghanaian Patrick Okine on 25 May at the Newport Leisure Centre.

Okine appears to be the real deal with his TTG credentials having been raised on the tough streets of Accra, Ghana and suffering just one loss in his pro career. Of course, he has NEVER BEEN STOPPED.

    Look forward to this one.
