Seamus, it must be nearly Christmas, I'm finding myself agreeing with you more and more! Yes it's wilder for me . He's underrated because people confuse limited skill with limited power , and they ain't the same.
Underrated? Probably Ruddock. I don't know anyone who doesn't think that Wilder's an enormous puncher and Lyle is as overrated as it gets. Or have i got it wrong? Are you asking who is the most underrated fighter out of these three and they happen to be punchers?
Underrated puncher has to be Ruddock just because the other two are pretty much known for a big punch and little else to a greater extent than Ruddock who also packed a punch..
Wilder just because his detractors took it so much further then normal. Theres people who truly believe Wilder was a total fraud.
Sorry mate I'll try to explain. All three could end fights suddenly . They've all got those highlight reels Kos right? But non of them are ranked with Liston, Foreman , Tyson or Shavers really.imo So which of the three really doesn't get that respect ?
Even though I'm not a massive fan of his, I pick Wilder because Wilder is seen by a lot as overrated because of the guys he were knocking out, classed as just a right hand. But that right hand was one of the biggest fight ending punches in the division for many years .
Exactly this. Wilder's big thing is his nuclear power. Ruddock's schtick is also his 'smash'. I'd probably say the most underrated out of these three is Lyle.
