Declined Lewis should still beat prime aj when dude went life and death with a declined old Klitschko, I mean the narrative has shifted to the point where joshua was at his peak against Wlad no ? That's what people are saying now
I think Riddick is an enigma. His whole image is based on having absolute wars with a much smaller Evander Holyfield. He won those two fights cause he was bigger and Evander wasn't a big puncher. Which is fine, everyone has their attributes. The Golota fight was literally right after KOing Evander and he was taking a beating. Looks good, passed the eye test, but he's not a proven fighter imo. Too many questions. You can kind of say the same about Mike. Though Mike destroyed the lower level guys he fought in more impressive fashion. But Bowe has those two wins vs Evander that really trump any of Mike's wins.
joshua ? corrie sanders ? chisora ? And your account was made today ? Is this a joke ? @AdamT he's back lol
Lucas Browne the guy didn't start boxing until he was in his 30's and was still at one stage a top 10 guy and captured a version of a world title on away soil. Jeff Fenech who also trained Mike Tyson said that Browne's natural power was on the level of Tyson. If Browne started as a teenager or even in his 20's who knows how good he could've been. The failed drug test does put a question mark on him but still an underrated guy if you consider all of the above.
are you OK Markuz lad. you seem confused about something. Didnt know i'd arrived in a cliquey village bar.I wrote what I wrote lad, no need to repeat it with question marks, what a strange reply.
One of my Boxing trainers told me he was around the scene in the early days of Bowe’s career. I don’t remember if it was amateur or pro. But when there was a Boxing show there was a break organized in the middle with half of the fights before the break and half of the fights after the break. Bowe did always fight right before the break because the organizers did know that Bowe would knock his opponents out cold and then they had time during the break to clean up the mess and deal with the drama and all that. Lol.
People have soured on Frazier because he used to be in peoples top 5s all time and people realized the following. He's 1-4 against Ali and Foreman Struggled with Bugner and Mathis. Didn't fight Norton, Jimmy Young, Lyle or Shavers who mostly fought each other. The main thing he has above Norton, Young and Lyle is hitting the scene earlier and having a title reign. His career is very short by the standards of the time.
I like to do top ten wins over in the classics, and Frazier has one of the best at heavy. No filler at all.
For me, Charles, Tua, or Byrd. Charles has a resume up there with guys like Robinson or Armstrong, although it is not all at heavy. Tua has wins over four titlists-- to me a bit of an uncrowned champion himself. Byrd has excellent wins over Tua, Holyfield and Vitklit, yet is never mentioned as a great fighter.
It's hard to find them in 'The West' because they are all promoted and hyped like crazy typically speaking. So it would have to be either some EE or Soviet fighter or Tyson Fury. I would say Fury since he was barely hyped even after beating Wlad which is quite remarkable. He only got big promotion after the Wilder rematch because he signed with ESPN, then he got more hype in the UK too. Anyone who followed Fury from the beginning will know that he was running his own hype with his ridiculous talk and call-outs etc. and got nowhere near the hype of AJ or Haye or Harrison or even Chisora. Hype and real rating are a bit different but they go together. Nobody gave Fury a chance against Wlad which shows how underrated he was and how small his hype train was. AJ would never have been given no chance like that.
