A little while back someone made a thread about who was the most overrated fighter in mma history. So, let's do a thread about who is the most underrated one. I feel like this will be a lot more difficult. Who do you guys think deserves to be mentioned in this one?

I feel Eddie Alvarez is underrated ever since his loss to Conor, and then another bad loss in ONE FC. People think hes a bum now, but he still did win belts in Bellator and UFC

Conor Mcgregor is a tricky one. On one hand, you have some nuthuggers and fans who think he is the greatest. On the other hand, you have haters and casuals who thinks he sucks because he lost to one of the greatest, undefeated champions ever who is a stylistic nightmare. So Conor is both underrated and overrated by different groups of people. His attitude might suck, but he still cleared out most of the FW division, and did beat the unbeaten champ, moved up 2 weight classes to fight nate and win a 2nd belt at LW. One bad loss doesn't erase his whole career.

I feel Ronda deserves a bit more credit for what she did for womens MMA and her devastating finishes early on. Yeah she was arrogant and had a bad attitude at times, and her striking sucks, but she achieved a lot and has great judo. Shes not a complete fraud and bum like most people think. She lost to a champion kickboxer and the female GOAT Amanda Nunes.

I also think Demetrious Johnson deserves more credit. The hardcore fans know he is one of the GOATS, but i think most people just think he is a midget who beats up tomato cans (casual viewpoint).

Here's a good candidate: Marco "King of the Streets" Ruas

He's forgotten now but he was one of the very first, highly effective well-rounded MMA masters
