Who can mix it up and do a bit of everything?

The guys I see with the most versatility inside the ring are Crawford, Usyk & Spence. They box brilliantly and grit it out when necessary too. Footwork, head movement, good jab, slugging it out in the trenches, the lot. They can literally do a bit of everything. Spence & Crawford have chose to show it more but Usyk has shown he can do it all too.

Canelo is obviously the pound for pound king still but he’s just great at doing what he does. He rarely needs to mix it up.

****I forgot to add Fury in there. Of course he’s up there too!***

I wouldn't call Lomachenko on of the most versatile fighters today. He's very on point at what he does just like Canelo but also similarly Loma and Canelo aren't going to be near as good on the backfoot as the are going forward.

As of late, Fury. Not a lot of boxers can do very well at both the potshotting slick cuban 25 punches per round style and the infighting break you down war of attrition. Spence is close, but there are fighters I feel outbox him from the outside.

Canelo isn't the most versatile in that he couldn't figure out Mayweather, Lara, etc. He outboxed Jacobs but uhhhhhh so did Rosado.

Usyk hasn't shown a lot of fighting on the inside, so I'm not sure he qualifies. He's like Mayweather in that his plan A is so good we may never seen plan B and C, though I am sure they exist.

But they can both exchange and are very good at combination punching and countering at mid range. Both are also good going backwards and Usyk in particular is very good going forward. Lomachenko is not good going backwards at all. And unlike Lomachenko, Usyk took apart the bigger counterpuncher in Joshua. Loma struggled with Lopez.

Usyk's ring generalship is a whole tier above Lomachenkos. It's like comparing Bernard Hopkins to Devin Haney

Anthony Joshua can fight on the outside, middle and the inside. He’s not the most skilled boxer to ever live but he has shown all of that.

AJ is trash on the inside. He can trade and pray he doesn't get clipped. Usyk was out wrestling him on the inside. It was hilarious. Wlad he outmuscled inside because Wlad doesn't fight inside only clinches.

Even Fury doesn't really fight on the inside, only when he has someone exhausted. Most inside fighting is positioning and clinch work unless you get a Rios Alvarado situation toe to toe slugging.

Look at his infighting in Whyte and Ruiz 1 though. He lost the Ruiz fight but all Ruiz can do is infight, and he had Ruiz KDd and hurt. On the other hand he KOd Whyte. He just couldn’t get Usyk because Usyk is on another level of skill, and Usyk was in-out all fight.

Loma can do everything in the ring, his range of punches is vast.

Lomanchenko can't do it all is due to his short arms and lack of size at 135. His lack of reach, more so than his lack of power is his worst physical attribute.

He's got no choice but to fight on the front foot... otherwise he can't reach his opponents.
