How is Matthysse the most feared at 140 lbs when he has got fights with Alexander, Judah, Garcia,Peterson and Soto?

Seems like quite a few of the top fighters are willing to fight him.

Or two fights away from being #1 in their division. They could all potentially KO the #1 guy in their divisions.

That's not what I was getting at. I was referring to the fact that whenever he is paired against somebody in a fight-whether actually scheduled or fights that can actually be made-they almost always pick him to win (not talking about fantasy match-ups). Regardless of how you feel about him as a boxer, when you hear Derrick Findley say he would favor GGG even over Ward, that is saying a lot, since he has shared the ring with both. You can only speculate so much on a fight no matter how much tape you've watched. I would still favor Ward at this point, but hearing those kinds of words being said must be taken into consideration that he is doing more than meets the eye.

Provo will get the **** beat out off him by Danny Garcia. Unlike Algier, Danny can actually punch and have demonstrated that he's capable of outboxing a crude puncher like Provodnikov.
With his lack of defence, I won't be surprised if Mathessey destroys Provo within the first 3 rounds. Non-puncher Algier hurt him a few times last Saturday.

From a stylistic point of view Khan present much problem to Mayweather than both Garcia and Thurman.
Against Mayweather, Thurman and Garcia can't do nothing but eat check hooks and lead right hands. We've seen this **** so many times already.

He was limited by opposition based on the whole GBP vs Top rank though, not really sure who would be available at 140 lbs at the time.

Garcia already beat him and wanted a fight in Puerto Rico.

    He has already beat Peterson.

Broner wanted and easier fight after a loss to Maidana.

Who else in GBP squad would have been a good fight for Matthysse?

    When?

I wouldn't be surprised if Provo stopped Garcia. Garcia's defense isn't great either or his stamina.

If he is implying Matthysse is crude fighter I don't agree, as I think Matthysse is a skilled fighter who arguably beat Alexander and Judah as well as a win over Peterson.

But a win over Matthysse makes me think he could do the same to Provodnikov, also appears to have a great chin.
