I've watched Appleby's last 4/5 fights and I've been impressed with what i'd seen. He looked rather raw going for the british title but he got it and is still really young at 18/19(?).

Will be interesting to see him fight the higher level comp defending the crown.

I think a good fight next would be Derry Mathews

Mathews has lost his last two, to Choi and Lindsay - but Choi is world class whilst he was schooling Lindsay before dropping his hands and being KO'd

A rematch with Simpson wouldn't be a bad bet, but I expect an easy first defence (or two) before upping further

Not many get a British title before 15 fights - especially without facing guys who have lost over 100 fights, which is very refreshing

    I would probably say DeGale.

None of the current talent outside of the established bunch, and I include Froch in that, look much at world class level.

Scottish middleweight Craig McEwan looks pretty useful.

I would have to say Kevin Mitchell, i would be a lot more confident if he fought on terrestrial tv ala Carl Froch. Mitchell has in my opinion the style, the talk, the looks, and more importantly the chin to become a boxing superstar.

    Is that a joke?

He cannot string two words together - he makes Ricky Hatton sound articulate.

he was schooling lindsay?he was ahead but hardly schooling him, lindsay was getting through by the 3rd round and it always looked a matter of time before he landed the right shot,he is a much better fighter than matthews and has a very good chance of collecting the british title, although he isn't world class he is definatly euro level.it took the same form as the cotto marg fight, except lindsay doesnt usually have power he just picked the perfect shot

    Ramsey was a decent journeyman.....

Claim to fame was challenging for the WBO interim 135lb title, drawing with Junior Witter and Bobby Vanzie, whilst taking Justin Juuko and Ricky Hatton (x2) the distance.
