Khan already fits the bill nicely.

Anyway, why are we talking about the next crossover star? Has Sugar Niko retired?

Victor Ortiz looks very promising to me. He's Mex/American and speaks both languages so he has a good fan base. He had a tough fight with Maidana and just didn't have the mental toughness in that fight. Hopefully Ortiz got experience from that fight. He's only 23 and his last two fights have been against Nate Campbell and Vivian Harris, Ortiz beat them pretty convincingly. His next fight is rumored to be against Paulie Malignaggi, another veteran and more experience for Ortiz. I see Ortiz becoming great!

To make it big aside from the obvious talent a fighter has they need to have some type of connection with fans. Not just to their own nationality, but it has to be bigger than that. More like an international type of connection. Pacquiao has that. When he's gone, it's gonna be a huge void to fill. There's alot of talent, I like Bradley, Ward, Khan,Alvarez the best. Man if Bogere keeps it up he might be the next Hamed. He's talented and a great showman. You want the fans to talk about you at work Monday morning. I know Martinez is up there in yrs, but if he beats Williams and could land a superfight he can be the next superstar. I mean he an Argentianian that lives in Spain and that would just give Spain another reason to claim themselves as the best country in sports for 2010. He'd be a heroe there and should have a growing fanbase worldwide. I think his promoters are falling asleep on this guy.

ortiz has a lot to offer.he's southpaw, got good punching power, and has a lot of skill.it's just his mental toughness that lets him down.he's gonna be in some good fights in the next 16 months, so lets see how he does.

 I'm curious now as to what companies would endorse the great Sugar Niko. He's a lover and a fighter so he'd do great in a Trojan commercial.
