Sonsona's problem is that he had bad management, an amateur trainer, and was not serious about his career. He only wants to make as much money as he can right now and bail. He's still young and has the physical talent to be very good but he needs to focus and find a right team that will take care of him.

I agree, but when it comes to natural talent. Francisco hits much harder and is much faster than Gesta P4P wise at his weight class.

I have to disagree on Francisco. He's got little talent. He's gotten to where he is right now because of physical attributes. He won't last long once he steps it up.

Gesta looks good, but I haven't seen much of him against opponents who pose some semblance of a threat. What he needs is a good promoter.

francisco hits harder but gesta i think has better defense and skills. talk about quickness, i think theyre almost even. look at the kids handspeed and footwork while throwing combos. he moves laterally while attacking.

That was the point I was making. Natural talent Francisco has the most of it out of the pinoy prospects but as for potential...not so much.

Francisco is quick too just doesnt have the skillset. Hes still young and would show more potential if he gets himself a high class trainer. At the rate hes going though it looks like he will just be a Bantamweight version of Maidana at best and thats ONLY if he has an iron chin.

i'm not gonna say he retired from boxing because of a loss, but he stop fighting because of that 'accident' from his last fight.

Gorres is not coming back guys. Im pretty sure he still hasnt fully recovered from his brain injury. Just be glad that guy is alive and expected to recover in time. The guy had a good career that just fell short due to bad management and corrupt officials.

I doubt Gorres will ever get medical clearance from anywhere to fight (or participate in any sanctioned fight). He's effectively retired.

aj banal still is the slickest of the batch.

He has the complete package - skill plus power. The problem is that he is with ALA and they seem to have stamina issues. Plus, their trainer seems to know only one way - slick.

Even watching his fight against Rafael Concepcion - he was schooling Concepcion bigtime with concepcion only able to hit the inexperienced Banal during clinches.

He has what ALA fighters have.

If he could have those two attributes, he is way more slicker than Donaire.
