At the moment gotta be Wladimir, has 2 of the top3 titles and if he gets to the 4th before his brother he will be the undisputed king of the heavyweight division

Vitali is a great fighter but wlad has done too much good work over the previous 3 years for vit to be ranked ahead of him. I've stated many times Peter was damaged goods after the Wlad fight and felt Vitali faced a much more stationary and less willing fighter than the '05 verison. The people claiming Peter had improved ignored his increasing weight and decreased hand and foot speed

nevertheless, this was an atg comeback from vitali not because he won after 4 years but because he dominated every second of every round. welcome back King Vitali :happy

Wladimir is #1, Vitali is #2. I would consider both #1 anyway.

Vitaly!! He beat Peter black and blue kicking his ass big time against all the odds.

Outstanding performance! Well, I am guess that I am still under the emotional influence of Vitaly's great fight against Peter.

I have just returned home from the fight arena.
Guess that you cant really be fair after being in an emotional rollercoaster for more than 45 minutes!

Vitali is the most talented heavyweight in the division...He's won almost every round he's fought and he's KO'd almost every fighter he's fought.

Vitali wasn't the true champion when he retired(despite what some would like to believe), so why should he become the number 1 after beating Sam Peter ?

Wladamir was #1, Vitali can slot in behind him. The only shame is now we can't have a champion as the two best guys won't fight.

For the sake of boxing we're just going to hope one of them loses, so despite me liking Wlad I'm gonna have to route for an Alexander Povetkin knockout on December 13th. Best of luck to Sasha !

Man....I don't know but Vitali is easily the better fighter. He totally schooled and dominated Sam Peter, after a 4 year layoff. Wladimir at his peak struggled with the limited Peter.

Welll, he was to clear cut No. 1 when he retired and he is a better fighter than Wlad anyway, so he has a case to reclaim the No. spot. Wlad has the better resume by now though.

It has to be Vitali, he beat the number 2 heavyweight in the world with ease, and got the TKO in the end, a prime Wlad looked like ****, falling over the place, multiple panic attacks, Vitali may not be the better boxer, but he will always be the better fighter.

I always thought Vitali was a little better. Not sure who I'd rank higher at this time. Vitali was very impressive tonight.

I go with Vitali on whos beat who for #1 overall and Wlad rated #1 for beating better beat.

    1A and 1B they are.

Wladimir is currently number 1. He's done waaaaay too much over the past 3 years to be supplanted by his brother. 6 of Wlad's last 7 wins have been against Ring rated top ten opponents, including a win over Sam Peter. Vitali having one win against a top ten opponent after 4 years away is not enough to kick his brother off the top spot. Let's get some perspective here, people.

Wladimir Klitschko, he's the one that's been cleaning out the HW division the past 4 years.
