Who is the ONE fighter who would give Joe Calzaghe his hardest fight at 168 or 175?

Actually you're right, getting confused with Antwun Echols, but I think the result would be the same if Mundine and Lacy fought.

Pavlik will come up to 168 and will only be stronger; he could be very dangerous for Joe but it would rake in a lot of cash!!!!

Mundine took 2 rounds off an injured Kessler.:deal

The Kessler that fought Cakzaghe was streets ahead of the Kessler that fought Mundine.

Kessler fights like he did against Joe and he destroys Mundine.

Mundine wouldn't stand a snowflake in Hell's chance of troubling Calzaghe.:good

I think behind Kessler is Mundine. Don't think he'd win but he would be the next toughest challenge.

Please, let us all stop this nonsense about Choc being blind in one eye...it's just a silly excuse. If he were blind in one eye, he would have been forced to retire. Instead, he is fighting journeymen.

Hopkins - he's a craftsman and wouldn't make it easy for anyone. A fight between him and Joe would be a real 50/50 match in my books.

He is legally blind in one eye, thats not the same as being 100% blind but that would mean he had 0% chance against joe.

I don't believe he is legally/technically/call-it-what-you-want-it-ally blind in his eye(s) NOW, although it looks like he has been so before. Call me a doubting Thomas.

    1. Chad Dawson

Still, I think Calzaghe wins. Following the Kessler fight, I just don't believe there is a successful formula for beating Joe, at least not one that the current stable of contenders could carry out. While Chad Dawson is probably the biggest test left out there, I most certainly feel that Calzaghe should seize the oppurtunity to fight B-Hop for HUGE $.
