Who is the real brawler in your opinion?

Margarito.

 

Margarito had more skills than Katsidis.

I suppose "pressure fighter" and "brawler" aren't mutually exclusive, but Margarito could apply pressure in some unusual ways in the sense that he threw unorthodox punches and didn't need his feet to be set to land shots.

He had good infighting skills (a lost art nowadays) despite his height and a terrific uppercut at different distances.

Katsidis seemed more like a wild slugger with less skills

 

It's pretty sad how many people are saying Margarito had no skill.... Katsidis should be winning this poll easily.

 

A lot of people don't know what skills are, or are letting that hatred of Margarito affect their judgment. I personally can't stand Plasterito, but he was more skilled than Katsidis

Plasterito was obviously no Pernell Whitaker, but he could in-fight, throw combos that created and exploited openings (the whole purpose of combos), shorten up his shots, land uppercuts at long range and up close.

That alone puts his skill level above katsidis
