Probably Bob Arum......Don King isnt relevant now but Bob was around at that time and somehow the old dinosaur manage to adapt and continue to plague us boxing fans till 2012 (and probably for many years to come.......unfortunately)

Id have to say Goldenboy. Between TV dates on HBO and Showtime not even including Mexican TV with Solo Boxeo and the fox deportes deal. The numerous small cards they do everywhere around the world. Thats even before you touch oscars Fight money. Arum isnt doing bad i just dont think his accumulated wealth is touching what Oscar has done in a relatively short amount of time. purely speculation though

Yeah, he's still a major power player as Top Rank's founder even though it's Todd DuBoef who runs that company. It seems he is more hands-on however than Oscar is with his man Richard Schaefer at Golden Boy. All four of them, along with Al Haymon and the HBO Execs run the sport for the most part.

Bob Arum seems to be riding on top the longest.

Most of the outrage people have towards Arum really should be shared with DuBoef over the last few years. Bob's very, very sharp for his age but not that sharp. He made superfights happen in previous decades with no problem whatsoever.

Arum was surely in charge of most of the top-grossing PPV events. I can't imagine anyone else even coming close. Isn't DuBoef basically Arum's employee?
