Mayweather's best win is either Diego Corrales or Ricky Hatton.Eubank certainly isn't one of Calzaghe's top 4 wins.

I actually think the fight with Hatton he showed a lot of heart to come through a tricky and testing fight..

The finish to the N'dou fight was also class...

    Corrales win was classic..

    Floyd approached everyone differently..

I honestly think a prime Delahoya at WW is one of the hardest fighters to beat, maybe top 30-50 in the history of the sport. So that accomplishment alone achieved by a LW is good enough for ATG status. Tito couldn't do it, he may have gotten the decision on points but he didn't "beat" Delahoya in his prime, but Shane Mosley did.

One fight alone. In that case Jimmy Young and Buster Douglas are all- time greats.

Get ready for the storm of chumps attacking you for disregarding how "amazing" Shane was lightweight. Never mind the fact the oppositon he fought was DIABOLICAL! Beating up tomato cans these days proves greatness. Simple as that.

Shane Mosley wasn't a 45-1 underdog bro, nor was he previously a nobody. He was a dominant LW champ which is why the Delahoya fight was so big. But stepping up and beating Delahoya speaks wonders for the guys abilities in his prime. That on top of the manner in which he dominated his opponents and also with him still competing at the elite level even today at his age is enough for me to call him one of the greats. :deal

Jim Lampley called him the 2nd best lightweight he had seen next to Duran. You can try and discredit him all you want, but the fact remains the guy was NEARLY unbeatable at that weight :deal Just look who he lost to....Forrest and Winky, two huge fighters compared to him!

Jim Lampley said it? Well, that's Gospel then. Forget Pernell Whitaker, forget Julio Cesar Chavez, forget Alexis Arguello, if Jim Lampley says it then that's good enough for me. :patsch

Clearly you and I have a very different idea of how a fighter proves greatness.

I see Mosley beating weak opposition at lightweight, and on the basis of how good he looks, I say he is a very good lightweight.

Only when I see a fighter looking this good against very good opposition, do I call him great.

Therefore, Mosley cannot be called a great lightweight.

    Who cares about that though?

The best win of a fighter's career is his greatest performance against his toughest opponent.

For PBF, that was undoubtedly Corrales. **** media attention, we are boxing fans.

Mosley is close to being a one hot wonder. HIs best win was against DLH who came in with the wrong gameplan. Props to MOsley for Capitalizing on OScar's mistake.

But as someone mentioned, you take away the DLH fight and you have a B level fighter.

Jose Luis Cruz??? The same guy that lost a decision to a shot SHarmba Mitchell??? And even if Collazo got the decision vs Hatton he still lost early in his career.

Maybe Mosley second best win was against Jesse James Leija?? Or John John Molina??? Or Phillip Holiday?? Or Antonio Diaz??

I actually agree with the part about Calzaghe....

And I like Mosley a lot, but he's really been hyped up over the years for the DLH fight.:bbb
