I'm talking about physical strength, not power or skills. I think it has to be Vitali; he had never been pushed around the ring before. He pushed Lennox and Sam Pter easily across the ring, and these guys are strong. Some people will say it has to be Foremen, but let's remember that small hw like Ali and Jimmy Young outmuscled him and were constantly pushing him. Forget Tyson, Holyfield was pushing him very easily in their first fight. I'm not a Klit fan, but it looks like Vitali is the strongest hw of all time. What do you guys think?

Bruno? He was muscular, but did you see his fights with Mike Tyson? Muscles don't mean anything, just remember Lacy and Calzaghe.5'10 Mike Tyson was pushing him all over the place.

    Valuev.

Loads of HW'S have never been pushed around in the ring. Lewis, Foreman and Liston all deserve a mention.

Lennox Chin was the strongest P4P ever.

The answer is probably a nobody who sucked at boxing but happened to be very strong. Right now, I'd say Demetrice King is stronger than Vitali Klitschko, but I wouldn't put King near the top of any ATG lists. I'd have to imagine that Primo Carnera didn't get pushed around much in his day either.

I would have to say Big George. But at the same time, Hasim Rahman's former conditioning coach, who is on here quite a bit, recently said that Rahman's max bench is 520 lbs.!! That is some weight right there. Not that he is the strongest though.

Did you guys watch Valuevs fights? He isn't strong for his weight and height...a small guy like John Ruiz was getting physical with him.

This reminds me of an interview I read with one of Holyfield's people. It was before he fought somebody quite large (can't remember which fight). The guy said "We've had Evander tested, and he has the strength of a 300 lb man" I thought it was a weird response so I remembered it all these years

Ruiz sux as far as skills go but he has a very deceptive strength too. He isn't muscular and has a beer gut, but he got physical with strong guys like Rahman, Golota and Valuev, and not to mention a slightly past prime Holy.

So does that mean that Rahman has the strength of a 520 lb man? Because for the average guy, benching your weight is decent.
