    Jack Johnson was sick strong.

In fact he did some sort of strongman sideshow when he wasn't boxing. And he could fly.

I'd say Cleveland Williams could be there.

I wonder where Ibeatahoochie would rank on a list of the strongest heavies.

Foreman? Did you see the Jimmy Young fight? Small hw Jimmy, who is more like a cruiser, stood up to him, bullyied him all over the ring.

Foreman by far, Liston would be 2.

Wow, I remember him. He fought some top contenders in the 80's and he was a very strong man. H nearly stopped Renaldo Snipes and went the route with a young Tim witherspoon. Miami badass, and now deceased, Jeff Sims stopped Jumbo and so did Frank Bruno but not without a scare. Also, Cummings drew with Joe Frazier in 1981.

Still, Foreman probably possessed the most overall strength in the division.

Did you see the Ali and Jimmy young fights? He was pushed easily.

Fair point, but I think those were balance issues.

Ali was a very strong human being.

    Foreman?

Man I love Foreman, his grill, and his cleaning products he's pimping.
But he was not the strongest, not even close.

Big george, even at 48 he toyed with young big strong men like savarese and briggs....

Vitali is strong, but hasnt faced anyone his own size, lennox pushed him around as much as vitali pushed him, so you cant really call him the strongest HW ever. It is Foreman without a doubt.

I'm surprised none of you mentioned Vitali.

From I saw, he was the one pushing Lennox, and Lennox has never been pushed like that before. Holy and Mercer pushed Lennox, but not as much as Vitali did.
