Cotto. In fact, I'd go so far as to say he's the only other fighter besides those two who is currently ranked in his weight class that most sports fans who aren't boxing fans have heard of. Hopkins has some name recognition too, as does Antonio Tarver. Mosley, Roy Jones and Holyfield are all well known, but none are top 10. Martinez and Donaire aren't really on non-fans' radars. Some people know Juan Manuel Marquez, but I really think to most people it's just a long Spanish name. Canelo and Chavez are building bases, but not really outside of the boxing community and the Latino community. A fair number of people also know the Klitschkos, but usually they're "those two big Russian brothers".

 

Sounds about right to me for guys who are top 10 in their weight class. You might be able to throw Tarver between Hopkins and Khan. If Pavlik is still top 10 by anyone, he might fit in there too.

 

ortiz is up there after the mayweather fiasco, and pavlik definitely has a name in the midwest and on the east coast, as far as people who have a knowledge of boxing.
