    There's just something about Brook that makes me think he's gonna be the one who takes Floyd's '0' if King Khan doesn't get there first. After all, they don't call him Special K for nothing. :good

    This. If there is one welterweight who can beat Pretty Boy Floyd it's the Special One.

    I think this makes a pretty good fight, but I don't think brook can step up his profile enough before mayweather retires to get that fight

    you're seem to like rating fighters who have claimed 'a belt' but have never been genuine world champions
    take froch (and Kessler) for example at SMW. several 'belts' amongst them, but neither have ever been the best in their division, so neither have ever been genuine world champions

    you also leave out amir khan - one on one few on that list who has raised his profile internationally and EARNED his big fights
    ranking fighters higher than him because they have a 'better record' but fight cans makes for a poor list

    there are not "4 world champs in every division", there are 4+ titlists - big difference
    joe calzaghe was the king of SMW. when he retired, the super six was held and, hey presto!, a new legitimate champ was crowned
    it may look dashing on a fighter's resume to build him up as a 'world champion', since that title is almost always legit in any other sport, but the truth is completely different in boxing, isn't it?

    khan "earned his shots" in EXACTLY the same way ricky hatton did - he left frank war+en (who has zero interest in furthering his fighters' careers once they have a belt), fought over here, gained international exposure and rep, and gained the backing of the networks.
    that is exactly how fighters go from domestic level to world level.
    it's not a coincidence that guys like brook and witter call out guys like khan and hatton and get snubbed. different playing field.
    so you're effectively highlighting the weaknesses of a fighter who has stepped up and beaten some decent names, while promoting guys like brook who have never stepped up

    nice of you to put words in my mouth, however misleading they are

    let me ask you something.
    who has kell brook beaten to make you think he deserves to be ranked higher than amir khan?
