Usyk fought Gassiev, Briedis, Glowacki, Hunter, Bellew, Huck, Chisora,Majidov, Beterbiev, Joyce, Nistor, Fa, Kunyshbek Kunkabayev, Clemente Russo, Arsen Goulamirian, Vassily Levit, Matt Korobov, Shawn Porter, Badou Jack, Derevyanchenko, Egor Mekhonstev Roman Kapitoneko, Teymur, Mammadov, Julio Castillo, Mohamed Hikal, Tervel Pulev, Dzhakhon Kurbanov, Lenier Pero, Dmitri Chudinov, Zhang Xiaoping, Viktar Zuyeu, Denys Poyatsyka, Osmay Acosta, Elchin Alizade, Joshua Temple, Mohammad Ghossoun, Vitalijus Subacius, and Ronald Gavril among many others amateur and pro and AFAIA the only time he was down was from a body shot against Beterbiev.

So to summarize. Usyk isn't just am amazing talent, incredibly accomplished and decorated boxer both amateur, semi-pro and pro, totally fearless and the sport's premier road warrior, the funniest and most charismatic man in the sport, he's an extremely hard and tough man to boot.

I have a great deal of respect for Pascal's mandibular fortitude and willingness to take on the best. The only time he's been stopped was by a prime Krusher who was a frighteningly powerful punching boxer-puncher and an absolute wrecking machine par excellence back then.

 

Fury was still only a bambino when he fought McDermott and only used to train on public holidays back then. But look what he did to him in the rematch. He stopped him like he stopped the teak-tough Chisora and The Tuscaloser in his rematches against them. He didn't turn into the Running Man who was mortally afraid of getting clipped by the wind of a punch whilst navigating his way to a soporific UD win, he entered the ring with a ''this is real man business'' mindset aka Gypsy Style and beat the souls out of their bodies.

Imagine an AJ who only trained on public holidays and was covered in thick layer of blubber all over his body instead of cartoon-sized horse muscle and who didn't have his elite crack team of top scientists, strategists, S&C coaches, nutritionists, sports psychologists etc. he's assembled to ensure his mind, body and spirit are in the best shape possible and his chances of winning are maximized.

You think AJ could comeback like Tyson did after going on a three year bender snorting enough coke and downing enough booze each night to kill 100 rock stars and stuffing his face with enough junk food each day to feed a small country?
