...which means with Alvarado moving up to face Pacquiao and JMM gunning for his 5th belt/division, that my money would be on Brandon Rios fighting someone for the vacant full title. Oh, the irony in all that... and that it makes sense by todays' sanctioning body standards.

 

They made Marquez's regular, it made sense as he never lost it just vacated for bigger fight against Pacquiao I believe

Yeah, Marquez's 140 title is one of the more bogus in recent memory that a top tier fighter has gotten.

 

I think he was stripped after he took a Pacquiao fight and they let the belt just sit there vacant it was prey pathetic but this is boxing.

The only interim champion they list is Afolabi...despite Sabillo and Rios both certainly holding interim titles.
