    I have mixed feelings about this one. Okay, he got his *ss whooped twice by an even crappier fighter Maskaev, he lost to Ruiz, got one draw and a KO loss against Tua, quit against Toney II, was one time lucky against Lewis and was KTFO in the rematch and...

    Hey wait a sec, I was actually planning to give him a little credit but after writing al these wellknown ****, I changed my mind :think
    (And these things except Toney II happened during his prime (if he ever had that moment)

    He's another pretty bad one. Won his title on a DQ, went 0-3-1 in his next 4 fights in what should have been the prime of his career. Lost to Johnnie Edwards and Al Seeger, both of whom got obliterated by Gamboa. Seems to have retired already at age 29.

    Holy effing mother!....Are all of you 12 years old and don't know anything about boxing history before 2000? It really has existed for a couple of hundred years before John Ruiz.

    The worst boxer to EVER win a world title was Primo Carnera. He was a complete mob set up and most of his fights were fixed. Once he actually fought a legitimate fight he was slaughtered....
