He looked bad but he did beat close to prime Holyfield convincingly.

Holyfield wasn't even close to prime when he fought Ruiz. A close to prime Holyfield would've destroyed Ruiz.:bbb

Francisco Lorenzo, Adrian diaconu, Sergio Mora, dennis inkin, enzo mac, ricardo mayorga, david diaz, carlos baldomir, of course john ruiz and the newest guy in the club is jean pascal (yeah I said it, He's a bum)

I didn't say prime, but Holy just got done fighting and giving Lewis a hard fight (the rematch) the fight before. Holy still had plenty in the tank, I just don't think his style meshed well with Ruiz's. Ruiz is boring inside the ring and out (exluding his trainer) and is hated for this, don't confuse popularity with ability.

:-( Made Tszyu quit, KO'ed Castillo out boxed the boxer Malignaggi, went up in weight to a different country and beat a slick southpaw in Luis Collazo, and dominated the very strong Juan Urango...and he was king of his division for 4 years. :-(

Anyway back on topic, I would go with Nikolay Valuev, John Ruiz, Hasim Rahman, James Braddock, David Diaz, and Leon Spinks come to my mind.

Buster Douglas. Not only was he not a very good fighter, but he beat one of the best ever. He had good skills but he never put it all together. His style was just perfect for Tyson. Very similar to how Barkley was perfect for Hearns.

are we talking the major alphabet titles here or any title known throughout the world? If its the latter, then its Andrew Hartley. If its the major alphabet titles...are we breaking it down by weight class or in general here? At Heavyweight, the worst may have been Shannon Briggs or John Ruiz.
