Who is the Worst Commentator of All Time?

I actually like Duke commentating lol. Calzaghe/Lacy was all the more epic with Duke on the mic as he clearly loved every second of Jeff getting battered.

The worst is easily the guy on Showtime, Mauro Ranallo. ****ing MMA twat.

 

Oh FFS. You see agendas wherever you do, same as the Nationalists saying Alex Salmond's lies about EU advice have been misreported. There's much more anti-English sentiment in Scotland than is true of the converse.

I have to say Benny takes a bit of beating. Also on Boxnation was some guy who commentated like he was on the radio calling every punch thrown. He was utter shite too.

On a positive note, I thought Paulie Malinaggi was superb a few weeks back. He is a natural and hope he keeps doing it!

 

I quite like Paulie - good to see he'll have a good career after he hangs them up. He always comes across as a nice guy.

 

err, its called an honest opinion. In my honest opinion? Darke was a terrible commentator, cos he let patriotism cloud his commentary. Being a football commentator first & foremost? He let the football rivalry seep into his boxing commentary, & as a result commentated like an englander fanboy instead of just saying it as he seen it.

As for my political standpoint? Its changed DFT. I dont do politics anymore. I woke up.

It's a pretty baseless opinion. It's a point you often make whenever a Scottish fighter gets criticised, that somehow it's nothing to do with their limitations, etc, but is in fact to do with anti-Scottish sentiment.
