John Rawling takes some beating IMO.

I really can't stand his commentary, and when it used to be him and Duke together, well, it was a cluster-**** of epic proportions.

darke did allow patriotism to seep into his work but don't all british broadcasters?

Don't you remember the "OH NO!!!!!!!!" when Bomber Graham got starched?

    Or the "COME ON FRANK!!"

    etc

He really has a **** voice doesn't he.

Rawling is just horrific at the job.

Adam Smith was absolutely dreadful too, especially when he went into try-hard screaming/excitement mode.

Jim Neilly was the worst of all for me though. People don't remember how bad he was because it's been so long.

Benny Ricardo, and when he's teamed with Duke they're an awful combination.

Amir Khan is off the charts... his ''commentary'' of Pac/JMM III was utter gash - one minute Pac is doing alright, the next he's being dominated, then he can't decide who won or who he wants to fight next.

In between that we've got him saying ''I offered Bradley....''

    Wanker.

I think George Foreman was funny, ''DON'T DO IT SON!!!!!!!!!!'' during the riot at MSG.

My all time favourite was Reg Gutteridge, he had a elegant style you just don't get any more.

Benny Ricardo, Jim Watt and the recent, ******* version of Jim Lampley are awful. "BANG! BANG! BANG!" was cringeworthy.

I loved george Foreman commentating! He's absolutely hilarious! Some of his quotes over the years have been priceless. I like Roy Jones, Ian Darke, Manny Steward (R.I.P), Al Bernstein and Antonio Tarver aswell. Even Max Kellerman is tolerable. ****, we have some **** commentators over here.

Dont suppose either Dukes or Jim Watts commentary style very exciting, but for me these two are the best at reading a fight or giving inside knowledge. If Paulie can provide this, hell be great because he couldnt be dull if he tried.

"There you go. Four-punch, five-punch, six-punch combination. Body shot, body shot, bang, bang, bang. Bang! Bang! Bang! Try and stop it! Bang! Bang! Here I come. Bang! You want to throw some time? Bang! This is the Manny Pacquiao who has dominated boxing for the past three years. Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! You want to throw back? Bang!"

Aw... Lampley is good, I just think he realised the fight was so dull it needed something memorable to happen. God Clottey was dreadful that night.

I don't know, Lampley is like marmite, when he's good he's excellent but when he's bad he's terrible.

Personally I'm not a fan of commentators who talk all the way through the ringwalks, fights, inbetween rounds, mainly because they just speak twaddle.

"Look at him, he's had a hard upbringing, a hard life, can he achieve the dream and become a world champion tonight?" ****ing hell he's from a council estate in Manchester not a favela in Bogota you pillock.

I was watching an old Paul Hodkinson fight the other week and found it refreshing how there was only one commentator and didn't talk all over the action, he just added his opinion every so often.

You know what though it could be worse, you're lucky you're not motorbike racing fans like myself, we've got to put up with some **** called Jonathan Green and to put it simply I hope somebody force feeds him his testicles and washes them down with bleach, twat!

That's the one that pisses me off. It's Rawling in particular who trots that nonsense out. "He's from a tough estate and he's a hard, hard man."

But he lives in a nice council semi, with a good little motor and can support his family of three.
