Actually Mayweather was criticized by Brian Kenny for fighting Zab Judah first instead of Baldomir who according to HBO's crew before the fight was supposed to be Floyds toughest fight yet, so apparently he did take his time making that fight.
I remember that. HBO was making it seem like Baldomir was incredibly huge and tough as nails and the possibility of a steam roll by Baldomir wasnt fantasy Those morons :verysad
In recent memory, Shannon Briggs and Carlos Baldomir are worth mentioning. I have seen very little of Zsolt Erdei to say if he's up (or down) there. I liked watching HBO trying to desperately sell Mayweather-Gatti was a competitive fight. With Ron Borges on the countdown show saying **** like "what is Mayweather going to do when he's in there with a guy that's willing to die and won't go away?" Uhh, punch him in the face some more?
all time...hmm...primo carnera for heavyweight. jimmy carter for lightweight (sorry jimmy). tarver for light heavy cause **** tarver.
Yeah, Kenny was all over him. Despite Judah's loss to Baldomir, Mayweather-Judah was a much more interesting fight to me than Mayweather's fight with Baldomir. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kXwJo7DWPA&fmt=18
And people wonder why Floyd got emotional after the fight. You spend months taking heat for not fighting this guy, and you beat him so easily and then you are called boring. :rofl
