James Braddock was supposedly not so great and he lost the title in his first defense, of course that was to Joe Louis.

Riddick Bowe defeated Holyfield for the title but did not do much else.

Hasim Rahman defeated Lennox Lewis for the title and lost it right back.

Buster Douglas managed to win the title but showed complete disinterest in his first defense.

    Primo Carnera was supposedly awful.

Come on now, Riddick Bowe? He may have been an underachiever but is far from the worst lineal HW champ.

Erdei easily and there is no contest. This guy is a persistent record padder who refuses to fight anyone above C level.

Is he really lineal though? :think

I know he's undefeated and a belt holder, but Im not comfortable calling him "lineal"

Hill to DM to Gonzalez to Erdei.

    "Lineal" doesn't always equal "best".

    Or even "3rd best".

Technically speaking he holds the lineal title, even though Roy Jones Jr. had all the thunder. Jake Donovan took a good look at it over at the scene/?m=show&id=18453

He is lineal there is no doubt about it. Erdei = bum. I hope this guy retires ASAP or gets KTFO by Pascal.
