    Keith Mullings was the linear 154 lb champion. I have no idea how good he is but his only significant win was Terry Norris and he went to **** shortly after

    He only ducked Witter. Holt, Bradley and Torres were not big enough or had not accomplished enough to warrant the use of the word ducking.

    There's lots of doubt about it, it completely depends what standards you use to resolve a vacancy in the lineal title.

    Shannon Briggs. Even worse was the fact that his claim to it was shaky at best with his win over Foreman, whose own claim was weakened after the Schulz fight 2 years prior. I love both guys but that linear title was as watered down as could be until Lennox took it from Shannon in March of '98 and made it matter again.
