For me he gets it because of his string of wins over good(though not spectaclular) opposition, and he fights on a regular basis. Consistency does it for me here, plus he is just an excellent fighter IMO. He has a number of solid wins in the last few years.

    Miguel Acosta
    Juinior Witter
    Kendall Holt
    Nate Campbell
    Lamont Peterson
All these guys are current or former champs and all were thought of as threats to Bradley. IMO better than Wlads opposition.

Not too mention wins over decent Luis Abreau and Edner Cherry.

paul williams is not a hype job, he just went toe to toe with martinez which is pretty impressive although his fight with cintron as short as it was...was very unimpressive.

    Paul Williams

    147:

    Mitchell
    Margarito
    Quintana

    154:

    Phillips
    Wright
    Cintron

    160

    Martinez

I'd say Williams deserves to be top 10.

At one time one could make a case for WIlliams being overrated. But not anymore i think he has actually become underrated.:think At least by lot of the posters here on ESB. This guy consistantly takes on tough opposition, his win over Martinez was controversial but hey Martinez is a top 5 pfp fighter. Its not his fault Cintron dove out the ring:-(

I would say he's far from the worst to ever make it into the top 10 but it think at one point Paul was even cracking the top three....which I would say probably makes him the worst to ever climb that high.

Also there was an award for the wost boxer to spend the most time on the list it would have to go to Paul. B/c I can't think of anyone who is as bad as he is that has spent soo much time up on the list.

I knew it was a matter of time before some idiot put this guy on here. THere have been sooo many fighters worse then Hatton that could be mentioned he should not even be considered in this discussion.

I dont see why is win over Martinez isnt counted. I am a fan of Martinez, but the fight could have went either way. Martinez tires mid fight for some reason in all his fights and that lost him the fight. Williams overwhelmed him with punches, was Martinez the bigger puncher? Yes. His he the better fighter? Assuredly. Will he probably whip Williams in a rematch? Yep. But did he decisively beat him the 1st time? No.

Don't think Bradley has fought Miguel Acosta or that Lamont Peterson has yet won a world title. And he didn't beat Nate Campbell.

Hatton is a strong contender for this in recent years. Won his title by wrestling and dodgy refereeing against a shot ATG who hadn't fought for ages, got brutally KTFO by the two genuine champions he fought, led with his chin, padded his record against bums and stiffs and still got dropped by one of them.

If he isn't the worst to get on the list, he is certainly the worst to get top 4 and to be on the list for 3 separate years.

Juan Diaz? He's no ATG, but my god he gets underrated. Is everyone forgetting how bad Marquez (a true top 5 P4Per) was down in their first fight before he got the KO? What about his solid wins over Katsidis and Freitas, an undefeated JM Cotto? Does anyone remember when people were saying Pac avoided him to fight Daid Diaz? Because J Diaz was the man at 135 at the time. I'm not saying he's amazing, but I'm surprised to see him being the worst fighter eer to make it to top ten p4p. When you're considered the man in your division, its reasonable to crack the top ten for a while.

I remember in 1995, shortly after beating Michael Moorer, either KO Magazine or The Ring Mag had George Foreman in their top 10 p4p.
