Maybe he is but maybe there are guys who are really difficult to finish. Rafael Marquez is a good finisher but he failed to finish Izzy which cost him the 2nd fight. Pac perhaps is one of the best finishers in boxing but he failed to finish JMM after 3 kds in the first round of the first fight. JMM was visibly hurt after the KD in the 2nd fight but again Pac failed to finish him!

    +1

I think to "finish someone" you usually have to hurt them first.

PacMan is the worst. Has Marquez down THREE times in the first round and can't finish him. Against old battleworn warriors it is a different story.

the great Edwin Rosario was like that! he would get a guy in trouble and not be able to close the show. Not always but at times and it cost him a perfect example of this is the fight vs Jose Luis Ramirez he had this guy down twice and almost out and he ends up getting taken out himself. Rosario also had Camacho hurt bad and couldnt finish him and there were other times when he would hurt a guy put him down or daze em and then get KTFO a round or two later.

Taylor was not a bad finisher in the Froch fight. He ran out of gas trying to stop Pavlik, got knocked out for it and he know that Froch was not hurt. Look at Froch's eyes, he was not hurt, he was simply caught off balance, Taylor knew that.

Try and fight as well as Taylor did vs. Pavlik and Froch. I respect his heart in those fights.
