WHo is the worst Ref? Who is the best?

That should be illegal. How the **** does somebody ref 35 fights for a fighter with 44 fights. Very fishy. Very.

Actually lets the fights go on and doesn't stop the fun.

 

I like Robert Byrd and he had a very tough job with Hopkins - Wright. Vic Drakulich, Kenny Bayless, Mitch Halpern, Eddie Cotton, they're all good. I am very disappointed with Jay Nady and Joe Cortez but, hey, who am I to say they are the worst out there? I just don't like to see boxing judges to come out as referees like Belgium's Daniel Van Der Wiele, S.A.'s Stanley Christodoulou, Lou Moret or someone like that... Or else one day, Julie Lederman will be in there shouting firm but fair or let's get it on!?!...

Smoger stops it at the right time.

Larry Merchant must've had a couple of Whiskey shots too many during Miranda-Pavlik.

 

I do not believe i've ever seen a bad call from Kenny Bayless, the man looks so intense in there like his eyes will bug out of his head (reminds me of Chris Tucker, but one good ref. Smoger is honorable mention.
Worst is Nady and Steele.

 

Larry Hazzard had to stop Cotto-Quintana for him even as Carlos was being convinced to go on by his team and Smoger.

Merchant was rightfully mad at Smoger for what Miranda did, spitting the gumshield to buy time like that. Actually, Lennox was right to say he was gone in the 6th and Merchant was wrong to correct Lewis. Smoger is old and he did that Quintana thang again as Carrera was completely out against Castillejo for the WBA eliminator, his chief second had thrown the towel in and he was asking poor youn'un Mariano if he wanted to continue...

 

Laurence Cole by far the worst. Jay Nady is quite bad but I think the hate for him in these forums is a bit undeserved IMO.

Steve Smoger and Bayless are runaway winners.
